The Heart of the Sea
Elisabetta Bonaparte
I feel the heart of the sea
on the coast,
in the crash of the waves
in dense movement
above the throbs of the Earth.
I feel the heart of the sea
on the skin,
beats to the rhythm of my heart
when the breeze
who caresses his soul
it reaches me.
I feel the heart of the sea
in my tears
it tastes like memories
and the ardor of hopeful rebirths.

In 2024 she published two poetry collections in itallan: "II volo della rondine" and 'Antiche Verita", She has been included in "Wikipoesia" (Encyclopedic Platform of Contemporary Poets in Italy).
