Today, Rabindranath Tagore is not on the Earth 

But he is alive in our hearts due to his worth

The Nobel laureate has left his immortal and strong legacy 

The world cannot forget the wide impact of his supremacy 

He fought for the liberation of women with the artistic performs

The superstitious people were not happy with his reforms 

Although, he has brought out in family of traders

But he has great sympathy with the poor and paupers

Tagore was multi-talented artist, poet and litterateur 

He was singer, painter , play write and educator 

He was nationalist and extremely patriot to the nation

He composed National Anthem for up coming generation 

Tagore returned his renunciation of the title 'Sir'

In protest of General Dyer's order of Jallianwala Massacre 

Gitanjali is a gem among the treasure of Indian poetry 

I pay homage to Gurudev on his death anniversary
